YO!Sushi has signed its first franchise deal for the US, which will see 10 of its sushi restaurants opening between Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia.
The deal was struck with The Sushi Company of North America, which will open the first YO!Sushi US restaurant in Washington D.C.'s Union Station early next year.
Robin Rowland, CEO of YO!Sushi, said: "We have had many approaches from all sorts of companies in the US over the years, but have held out for an outstanding partner with the operational and financial capability to grow at a pace. We are also in discussions with several other highly qualified franchise partners for other US territories."
