US restaurant signs franchise deal for Middle East
The parent company of USA-based quick service restaurant chains Wendy's and Arby's has sold the Middle East Master Franchise for both brands. Saudi Arabia-based Al Jammaz Group has agreed a deal to build 135 restaurants in nine countries throughout the Middle East and North Africa over the next 10 years.The locations will be dual branded offering customers the choice of both Wendy's and Arby's menu items in each outlet. The first restaurant under this agreement is due to open in Saudi Arabia in early 2010.
