Ideal franchises owner profile

The Counter is ideally looking for franchise owner candidates who have:

• A minimum of five years experience in the casual dining or fast casual sector as an owner/operator
• A maximum debt to cash flow less than or equal to 8.0x
• A minimum net worth greater than or equal to $5.0MM
• A minimum liquidity greater than or equal to $500k per restaurant to be developed (i.e. cash reserves)
• A minimum five unit commitment.

As well as the above criteria, The Counter is also looking for partners who have:

• A proven track record of aggressively developing multi-unit restaurant systems
• An infrastructure dedicated to the development of the brand
• Local knowledge and expertise in the areas of consumer preference, real estate, government regulations, labour and distribution issues
