Retoucherie de Manuela enters China

Clothing repair and alteration company Retoucherie de Manuela began the development of a planned 20 store network in China, with the openings of three stores in Shanghai and Beijing in January. The Spanish brand, which operates in over 270 locations across 17 countries in Europe, North and South America, signed a franchise agreement with the owners of a local business which owns a 500-strong network of dry-cleaning stores.

The brand has been established for over 30 years and offers express service, same day or 24 hour personalised services in clothing transformation, including a specialised service in leather and suede. The development of its Chinese network will take place over the next 18 months.
