Find a business opportunity at Franchise Expo Paris 2011

Canada is to be the guest of honour at the 30th Franchise Expo, a trade show for investors interested in the creation of network companies, which will take place in Paris, France on the 20-23 March 2011. With 450 brands expected to be represented, from 75 different business sectors, and over 100 foreign exhibitors from 22 countries due to take part, Franchise Expo Paris 2011 is set to be one of the sector's key events in Europe this year.

Franchise Expo Paris 2011 will take place at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre in Paris. Franchise Expo Paris is the ideal trade show for companies keen to discover new ideas and to find out more about current trends in the international market. Future franchise investors will be able to meet brand representatives in meetings known as Master Franchise Datings.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in meetings with leading figures in the networking market, and to attend free daily training sessions led by the Ecole de la Franchise (sessions held in French) and the Master Franchise School (sessions held in English).

For the second consecutive year, the trade show will begin on a Sunday in order to facilitate contact between visitors and brand representatives. In 2010, over 30,000 visitors attended the trade fair, over four days, representing a 15 per cent increase on the previous year.

In order to provide answers for future owners of franchised businesses, the organisers have set up a programme packed with innovative conferences workshops.

Following their popularity at Franchise Expo Paris 2010, even more conferences and workshops will be laid on at this year's event. These will help visitors access all the relevant information and reach their aim of creating a business.

As guest of honour at Franchise Expo Paris 2011, Canada will officiate from the VIP Lounge throughout the trade show. Canada is an attractive proposition for many French franchisors, with companies such as Yves Rocher, Maisons Mikit and La Boîte à Pizza already established in the country. Canadian network companies are also looking to expand across France.
