USA-based specialist footwear franchise Foot Solutions is looking for entrepreneurs to aid its worldwide expansion. The company currently has franchises operating in the USA and Canada, and will soon open stores in England, South Africa and Dubai.

Foot Solutions is primarily centred on proactive footwear and assistance for knee, hip and back pain. Although the focus is on fit and support, having attractive and stylish footwear is also important. Franchise owners own and operate Foot Solutions stores and provide products that are beneficial to a number of people.

Foot Solutions is looking for franchise owners who are prepared to take on a serious level of commitment. Although candidates do not need to be a doctor or a podiatrist, the franchise owner and their employees are required to be certified pedorthists, which they will achieve through the Foot Solutions training programme.

Franchise owners will be required to participate in a two and a half week seminar at the Foot Solution Pedorthic Training Centre before launching their business. At the seminar franchise owners learn terminology, concepts, and the techniques that will allow them to make modifications and adjustments to shoes and orthotics to insure a proper fit. Along with the medical-related training, the seminar covers marketing, customer service, inventory control and other business basics.

After the initial training, franchise owners are assigned a broad-certified consultant to spend the first week of operating in the store. Additional support is available from various field representatives and associates on an as-needed basis. There are also supplemental instruction materials, monthly portal calls and regional training seminars.
