Domino's Malaysia invests in network expansion

Domino's Pizza is set to open in at least five new locations in Malaysia this year after its Malaysian Master Franchisee announced a RM2.5 million investment in network expansion. Dommal Food Services, which is a US-based company, launched 13 new sites last year to reach a current total of 33 sites, three of which are restaurants while the rest are delivery outlets.

'We intend to open at least five new outlets in 2007, focusing on the same areas that we are in,' says Dommal General Manager Allan Ang. 'We sell about 1,000 pizzas a week per outlet.'

The new openings are expected to help the Malaysian network achieve double-digit revenue growth this year.
