Build-A-Bear signs German franchisee

USA-based Build-A-Bear Workshop, which is a retail concept where customers can create their own customised stuffed animals, has awarded an international franchise for Germany to Choose Germany A/S. The franchisee is a subsidiary of Choose Holding A/S of Denmark, which also owns international franchises for Build-A-Bear Workshop in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Choose Germany A/S has undertaken to launch two sites in Hamburg by the end of the year, adding to parent company's five Danish locations, one in Sweden and forthcoming outlet in Norway. Build-A-Bear Workshop is established in 255 locations worldwide in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
