Canadian juice bar franchise, Booster Juice, has sold its Master Franchise license for India. The Master Franchise for India was sold to Brand Calculus, a Bangalore based company which is majority owned by entrepreneur Fazle Naqvi.

Brand Calculus is planning to open the first Booster Juice outlets within six months and is initially focusing on Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. Mr Naqvi said: "For the first few years we will focus on establishing the brand's presence in the top 10 cities. We are targeting the young, urban and health conscious customers in the age group of 18-35."

Booster Juice was founded in Canada in 1999 and the company is currently establishing a worldwide franchise network.
