Fast food giant McDonald's is planning to franchise its restaurants in Russia for the first time.
McDonald's has signed a franchise agreement with Rosinter, which will initially concentrate on opening McDonald's outlets in airports and railway stations.
The company first entered the Russian market in 1990 and currently has 314 stores in the country. Until now McDonald's has expanded its brand through company-owned locations.
