Banana Republic to enter French market

The first outlet of casual clothing retail franchise, Banana Republic, is set to open in France in early December.

Banana Republic is part of Gap Inc, which owns several clothing retail chains. Its first outlet in France will be located in Paris on the Avenue des Champs Elysees.

Stephen Sunnucks, President, International Division at Gap Inc, said: "With loyal customers across Europe, both in our stores and online, we are confident that Banana Republic's proposition of affordable luxury will resonate well with Parisian customers."
