US-based ice cream and frozen dessert café, Baskin-Robbins, has signed a franchise agreement for Vietnam.
The company signed the agreement with Blue Star Food Corp., a Vietnamese food manufacturing company, which will see 50 stores being launched in the country over the next few years.
The first three stores have already opened in Ho Chi Minh City, including a large flagship location. To appeal to Vietnamese customers the Baskin-Robbins menu has been adapted to include South East Asian flavours including Green Tea and Mango Mania, as well as traditional US options such as Mint Chocolate Chip.
